Vatican City Mint Stationery
The Vatican City State became a postal issuing entity on September 10, 1929, with the issuance of their first postal card. Over the years, they have maintained a moderate program of issuing Vatican postal stationery. The issues have been primarily Postal Cards Postal Reply Cards and Aerogrammes. With the exception of the first few Postal Cards, all have been illustrated, depicting a scene related to the Vatican on either the left front or reverse.
